ComforSelect™ 20 Year Warranty

Comforpedic™  warrants that your ComforSelect™Air Bed, including the air mattress and foundation, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 20 years from the original purchase date.

What is not covered

• Conditions arising from normal wear and tear. (Conditions arising from normal wear and tear include, but are not limited to, mattress cover compression, foam compression or discoloration of components.)
• Damage from tampering with or opening of warranted product or component
• Damage from misuse/abuse of warranted product
• Damage from laundering or dry-cleaning
• Acts of God, such as, but not limited to lightning and flood damage
• Sale or transfer of the warranted product or component

What you must do

• Return the warranty registration card within 30 days of receiving your mattress
• When you encounter a problem, contact our customer service department, with a description and/or picture of the damaged/defected component to confirm that it is covered by the warranty and to receive a Return Authorization Number.  ANY AND ALL UNEXPECTED RETURNS WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER WILL  NOT BE ACCEPTED
• Return the warranted product or component in sanitary condition to Comforpedic™ with your description and Return Authorization Number.

What We Will Do

In the event that repair or replacement resulting from a defect is required, Comforpedic™ will repair or replace (at Comforpedic’s option) the defective product or component at a cost to the original purchaser based on the table. The "price" is the price of the defective product or component at the time the warranty claim is made, or the price of a comparable product or component if the original product or component is no longer in production.

Comforpedic™ reserves the right to substitute products or components of equal or better quality, and to use or deliver refurbished products or components, in the repair or replacement of any product under this limited warranty.

What will Void This Warranty

• Tampering with or opening components of the warranted product or component
• Misuse or abuse of the warranted product or component
• Sale, transfer or other disposal of the warranted product or component
• Failure to return the warranty registration within 30 days of delivery of mattress

Limitations

• Your exclusive remedy, IN LIEU OF ALL INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING FOR NEGLIGENCE, is limited to repair or replacement of any product or component deemed to be defective under the terms and conditions stated above. Comforpedic™ will bear no other damages or expenses.
• Customer maintains responsibility for installation of parts replaced under terms of the warranty
• Comforpedic™ reserves the right to refuse to repair or replace any product or component that is returned in an unsanitary condition
• This Limited Warranty applies only to the product as used in the United States. It is not applicable in U.S. territories or other countries
• This Limited Warranty is non-transferable
• Repair or replacement of a product or component under the terms of this limited warranty in no way lengthens the limited warranty period
• ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. All claims relating to the limited warranty products should be made by contacting Customer Service.

The terms and conditions described above apply to all mattress and foundation purchases made on or after 12/29/12. For the specific terms and conditions of the warranty for any bed purchased before this time, please contact Customer Service.

20 Year Limited Warranty

Comforpedic LLC  guarantees that this mattress will be replaced or repaired at our option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship, or structural defects the warranty, excluding the specific limitations contained herein.  This warranty covers any deterioration in the cell-structure of the material that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than three-fourths (3/4) of an inch, not associated with a sag in the foundation, box springs, or platform.  It also covers any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the material to split or crack despite normal usage and proper handling.  If such defects occur within the 20 year warranty period we will, at our option, repair the mattress, or replace the mattress.

All warranties contained herein shall not apply if the product or cover has been physically damaged, burned, cut, torn or is abnormally soiled or unsanitary.  This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the product.  All transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.  You must provide proof of purchase for any warranty claim.

Quality Assurance

This product is free from defects in workmanship and materials and will remain serviceable under normal use and service for the warranty period, from the date of delivery to the consumer, subject to specific limitations and expectations subsequently set forth in the warranty.

Should the product develop defects for reasons other than misuse or neglect within the warranty period, the product will be repaired or replaced at the factory’s option.  The customer is responsible for returning the product to the manufacturer in Pomona Ca.  Replacement or repairs will be made with charges as outlined on the Warranty Schedule, exclusive of transportation costs.

The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse service when the product is found to be stained, soiled, in unsanitary conditions or when product failure is due to cause of misuse or abuse.

Warranties are made only to the original retail purchaser and do not cover merchandise purchased or used, secondhand, or distressed.  These warranties do not cover normal wear and tear.

The cover is warranted to be free from defective materials or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase, under normal care and use.  The warranty does not include fading, pilling, or shrinkage and is not valid where there is evidence of soiling or unsanitary conditions.

The Limited Warranty does not apply under the following conditions and circumstances:

1. If the product is found to be unsanitary.
2. When product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship or materials.
3. Any size mattress that is used on a frame, bed rails or foundation without center support rails, and a solid, continuous surface.
4. If there is damage to the outer fabric of the cover including wear and tear.
5. If this product is used for commercial purposes.
6. If purchaser does not produce proof of purchase.

In the event identical materials are not available to be used in the replacement or repair or product, we the manufacturer, reserve the right to substitute other materials of equal or greater quality.  Proof of purchase and the date of manufacture of the product are required.  The law label on the product will serve as a means of establishing the date of manufacturer.  Removal of the law label will void this warranty.  A receipt, or canceled check, or other acceptable documentation can serve as proof of purchase.

Mattress Care Instructions:

Do not flip over a visco memory foam mattress.

Don’t stand or jump on the mattress.

Don’t leave folded or bent for long periods of time.

Don’t allow excessive moisture to saturate the Mattress.

Mattress Cover Care, for best results, dry clean the mattress cover only. 

Normal use will result in signs of routine aging.  Slight body impressions may appear in the normal course of use, and some changes may occur in the support characteristics.  This indicates your bedding is adjusting to your body to enhance comfort and should not be considered a manufacturer defect.

All implied warranties shall be limited to the period of this Limited Warranty unless otherwise required by applicable federal or state law.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long a warranty lasts, so consequently, the limitations may not apply.

Comforpedic LLC  does not warranty against mold due to the fact that the environment the product is kept in once purchased is out of its control.  Please note that visco memory foam, latex foam and polyurethane foam should never get wet or be kept in an environment with excessively high humidity.
